arezzowave07: news.

well guys, i'm back from bologna where i had one of my last gig for 2006 [ one of the worst year ever had in my life tho] and i'm so tired due to those fucking tiny couches on the train..bha.

music: as you know, i'm probably one of the greatest fan for italian festivals, in particular i really love arezzowave.
this year i will probably have the pleasure to compete in the contest for elettrowave07 and i'm talking with "one of em" about setting up a "blog-school".
the idea sounds nice: it should be so funny, having a great time with other guys who share your similar interest and so on.
well, i'll let you know more news asap but please, if you're interested in it and, in particular, to deal with me about this idea, send me an e-mail on dyinginbeauty@smalltownfoggia.net: i'll be happy to suggest your ideas to italiawave's guys =)

sorry guys, i know i should be boring by annoying yourself with this stupid italian statement but i think it's necessary to analyze better our situation about music.
so please, if you're from italy, read this:


stavo oramai notando come la situazione musicale italiana sia diventata una cosa pressappochista e penosa: si va soltanto a concerti stra-sponsorizzati, in mega auditorium con i prezzi alle stelle e dove tutto e per tutto deve ricordare il tipico sfarzo massimalista filo-americano.
le stesse major sono rette e condotte da gente che guarda soltanto alla quantità e non alla qualità, ed è un peccato poichè in italia siamo pieni, se non zeppi, di estro e di creatività capace di poterci portare ai piani alti di uffici e agenzie atte alla pubblicazione e, cosa fondamentale, sponsorizzazione del prodotto.
tralasciando il limite dato dalla lingua [l'italiano è quello che è, non possiamo certo cambiarlo], la riflessione va tutta su una società che, in teoria, TUTELA GLI AUTORI E GLI EDITORI DI UNA QUALSIASI OPERA DA LORO COMPOSTA/ESEGUITA: sto parlando dello spauracchio italiano, la SIAE.

il sito della siae [che non fornirò su questo mio blog sia perchè non ha bisogno di ulteriore pubblicità, sia perchè alla sola parola, mi cominciano a spuntare bolle in ogni-dove e, in ultima analisi, sia perchè ritengo che metter su un sito del genere possa risultare un insulto all'usabilità del web] risponde a tutti i nostri interrogativi circa il suo funzionamento e le leggi secondo cui essa deve operare. in particolare soffermiamoci molto superficialmente [devo, putroppo. la cosa sarebbe lunga e oltre che annoiare me, lo farebbe anche con voi, cari lettori], analizziamo questo passaggio:


"Se organizzate pubblici spettacoli o intrattenimenti di qualsiasi tipo che prevedono l’utilizzazione di opere dell’ingegno protette o se distribuite riproduzioni o prodotti contenenti riproduzioni di opere, dovete sapere che:

Chiunque utilizzi pubblicamente, nell’ambito di qualsiasi forma di spettacolo o intrattenimento, riproduca e metta in commercio, sia gratuitamente che a pagamento, esemplari di opere protette dalla legge sul diritto d’autore, deve ottenere la preventiva autorizzazione da parte dei titolari dei diritti (legge 22 aprile 1941, n. 633)"



vogliamo renderci conto che lo stato italiano protegge il diritto d'autore secondo delle leggi del 1941? eravamo in pieno periodo fascista [nascita del partito nazionale fascista avvenuta nel 1939-40], possibile non ci sia stata ancora una revisione di tutto il sistema della tutela dei diritti d'autore sino ad oggi? una democrazia che si professa tale può ancora sottostare a norme di stampo dittatoriale?
poi "i giusti" si chiedono perchè "gli altri" scarichino musica: logico. se per suonare in un luogo pubblico o per comprare un cd/vinile, si debba ricorrere a mutui bancari, be, la situazione non può far altro che peggiorare.
che poi è totalmente inutile indagare su tizio e caio, visto che nella nostra nazione il p2p clients è pressochè di dominio pubblico, guardia di finanza, carabinieri e impiegati pubblici in primis.

un'altra cosa che dovrebbe far rabbrividire è vedere questi pseudo-artisti stra-famosi nel mondo [non me ne voglia nessuno di quelli che citerò, ma putroppo credo che proprio da loro dovrebbero partire dei messaggi su questa piaga italiana ed invece se ne stanno sulle loro, godendosi successo e danaro], vedi i vari eros ramazzotti, tiziano ferro, laura pausini o, fra i dj, vedi claudio coccoluto, ralf che oltre ad avere una vera e propria mistificazione da parte dei fans, sono stracoccolati e stra-accontentati da sponsors, partnerships e le stesse case discografiche.
ma a loro cosa importa se i fans comprarno un cd a 18 euro? cosa importa loro se le etichette italiane stanno oramai morendo per dar spazio alle major? come fanno, gli stessi, a lamentarsi del file sharing? come diamine è possibile che non siano loro a dare il buon esempio? io, ci fossero dei vinili/cd ad 1 euro, mi vergognerei come un ladro a dover scaricare musica da internet.
e sia chiaro che il sottoscritto, settimanalmente, va all'acquisto di cd e vinili senza badar a spese ma stando molto cauto sulla qualità del lavoro. ed è questo che bisognerebbe sottolineare nell'operato di un artista per distinguerlo come tale.

e non come un marchettaro.

well, just some notes: the gig for motorshow has been changed from 15th december to 7th december, just for the beginning of the festival.

another note: k*lode will be @ umbriafiere for the new year's eve. in particular, my friend lovig will play there for all nite long [c'mon guys, i can't work in that days as well...be patient].

last note: i'll be in milan for cansei de ser sexy's concert, on december 13 @ transilvania. hope to see you there.
