you say party! we say martini!

hi guys, hows it going?
i'm fine, i felt like a doped pusher for all the weekend but it was great.
yes, i was in rome with a friend of mine to have fun for "you say party! we say die!" 's concert and it was totally crazy, these canadian guys are really great, i was totally out of my mind. that's one of the best punk-band ever heard, really.
their new album will be out on april so...stay tuned on this blog cos i hope to get a promo in the next months.
i made several videos/photos from the concert, hope to show you here asap =)

music, yeah.
tiga is actually so busy in this period: he's finished his last rmx for the killers' band [ "bones", the forthcoming single from their last album] and now he's gonna release different tunes as 3 weeks, new track with jori hulkonnen, deweale bros. [actually he's working with em for a new album...we'll see] and in particular, move my body.
well, you know my extreme love for this track: i got it in april, when justice came here in italy to play for a gig.
after the show, i asked xavier for that track, he opened his cds-bag and he gave it to me.

after that, i've ever promised to myself not posting it since its release.
well, i think it's time to let you know how a tune could be so fucking hot.

tiga - move my body ["only4erol" remix/ bad version/ not-album version/ how do you fucking wanna name it?]

well, just some notes: the gig for motorshow has been changed from 15th december to 7th december, just for the beginning of the festival.

another note: k*lode will be @ umbriafiere for the new year's eve. in particular, my friend lovig will play there for all nite long [c'mon guys, i can't work in that days as well...be patient].

last note: i'll be in milan for cansei de ser sexy's concert, on december 13 @ transilvania. hope to see you there.

nite.

i'm gonna stay with you, there's nothing else to do.

it's saturday: everyone should be out with his friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/pet-friends/dinosaurus-friends/ufo-friends etc.
but i'm still here cos it's a no-sense, right now, to be in a city-center [which is not mine] and have a deal with its people [who are not mine].

i've just finished to watch a movie: matchpoint, by woody allen.
believe me when i say it's one of the worst movie ever seen: where's woody? where's his geniality? where's the AIM of this stupid film?
is it really london? but london is in uk, not in the USA..c'mon woody, that's crap!
american, boring and cheesy: what's wrong with you, sir?

grrr, music [better]:

i've not so much to say about this tune.
i mean, as you can see i've changed my last favourite album of the month, discovering this great voice coming from new york.
i've just taken this track from her new album cos its lyrics, sadly to say but, are dedicated to the same person, like i did for the track made by thom yorke, the one posted in august.

regina spektor - fidelity

on this blog i got the pleasure to have a comment made by a great producer as adam dyment [duke dumont] who's currently at the top of my chart with his last work on wall of sound.
c'mon, let talk about this track: it's the floorkiller for 2006!nothing to add!
i suggest you visit his myspace: http://www.myspace.com/dukedumont

for sure, buy this release.

mekon - yes yes y'all [duke dumont remix]

minimal-techno, groovy-bleep, sleeparchive, minus, trapez, blablabla: FUCK OFF!

rex the dog - maximize

four coffee in one day: i feel like a robot.

STF podcast

a community from my home-town asked me for a podcast: so i did it few days ago in my spare time.
it's just a selection, for your ipod, about my favourite tracks i used to listen to em when i'm happy/down/in the shower/in the gym/having sex/having sex in the gym/having a shower in a sexy gym and so on.

all you have to do it's just a click on "stf podcast" 's icon.
enjoy.

by the way, i'll play in bologna for motorshow festival in the redbull stand on 15th dicember: come there and say hello!

Saturday, November 11, 2006

i used to drink a cup of tea when i felt powerless.

Thursday, November 09, 2006

hey dude, why don't you sample other tracks from cowley?

what a fuck!
it's ungodly: too troubles with my turntables. WHY? WTF AGAIN!
so again i dunno how i could rip that great radio slave remix.bha.

well, try to be satisfied with this "sop".
i really don't know when this contest will finish.
i'm referring to this strange trend to sample patrick cowley's track.

from canada with love, next guests for dissonanze2007 in rome:

ah, someone from pig magazine spends his days on my blog, it's a nice info.
if you gotta know news, reviews about music, style, and so on, i think it's the right magazine for you.
[sorry guys but i continue to prefer blow up since they published my charts so many times, hihi]

more info:
www.umbrialibri.com
