-2

well, everything was done:

- party has gone, nice way to play in it;
- exam has been passed;
- back in my home-town.

yes, i'm back in foggia: strange city. i mean, it's not so small & tiny and it could seems as a little metropolis with its own problems.
by the way, when i see imagse about my city, my heart is filled of emotions:

corso vittorio emanuele.

piazza XX settembre: nice view.

oh gosh, i don't remember the right name of this way but it's really cute =)

a fountain in front of the pronao.

so after giving you some info about my home-town, let me show you some pics about party:

that was the location: a nice club with a superbe swimming pool;

that's me before playing. i was doing the best thing i know: to be stupid.

ok guys, i really love to have fun with you but...when will i play?

brrrrr..

yes, when i play, i'm a bit serious..but it was fun =)

yeah, new futureheads' track is awesome to efx!

those guys are crazy.

splash!

people love alchool..

thanks juan [the guys on the left] for making everything possible in this party!

about music, i know it's been long time since i posted a dj-set/concert so i hope to do the best in these few days here in my home-town. you know, -2 days and i'll be in london.
by the way, hope you could like this amazing dj-set made by kitsunè crew:

tour de force.

it's the day before party where i'll play tomorrow. so, if you're from a city full of nerd and stupid guys called "foggia" and if you wanna enjoy yourselves by having fun on a swimming pool, why don't you come?

http://www.smalltownfoggia.net/party/

i'm quite busy due to this fucking exam. yes, it's hard to study when there's a roaring sun on the sky but i'm trying to do the best.
and then, obviously, LONDON. i can't wait for it, so fucking excited =)
and i've just began to read a book called "l'uomo duplicato" by
saramago: believe me folks, it's written in a so captivating way and the story is amazing.
it's one of my tips for you reading taste: thumbs up!

thom, have a shower!

no dj-sets/concerts/musical tips to share today, sorry about, guys.
just few considerations about one of my favourite artists:
thom yorke is absolutely a pure genius: since his works made with radiohead, the unique word i can express is "ODDNESS".

now thom is again on the stages to perform his great attitude to be one of the most charismatic singer in the united kingdom.

thom's new album, the so-called "
the eraser", maybe will be not your perfect cup of tea, if you're the prototype of a peculiar radiohead's fan cos it sounds so different from their previous works: less neo-rock [is it the right definition, isn't it?], more atmosphere thanks to electronic wistful sounds, quite "noir" [sorry for french abuse, my dear italian friends].
by the way, i'm pretty sure about that's just a new experience for thom, he surely will be into radiohead's project for the forthcoming album in 2007.

sure, sure.
lol.

i turn my camera on.

just booked my plane's tickets for london, so that's the assurance i'll be there on the 2nd of august.
today it was my last but one exam before my contemporary art's exam: what could i say? it was quite easy, not so difficult.
it was more difficult to have some "views" but, i know, it's a question which is very hard to fix[for me].

ok, let's talk about music.

boys noize sounded as the usual electro "soap" who made "cheesy" tracks with some "bb-bbraaaaun"'s synths [onomatopoeia!]. so, that was the situation one year ago. now boys noize [aka kid alex] finally takes my breathe away with the hottest tunes heard in these months: rmxes for kaiser chief, i-robots, tiga and other great stuff as his "volta82".
listen to it, let's rock..indie-rock =) :

and did we mention our disco?

just call me "mr. violet".

ehm, i was just kidding with my photoshop, nothing so exciting.

by the way, i've just had a contact with
did we mention our disco? 's guys who rent an apartment for august.
that's was the announce found on myspace's account:

*******WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER YOU*******

we are looking for someone to fill what is undoubtedly the biggest and best room in the whole building, encompassing an entire floor (i think it used to be two rooms prior to the refit) with windows either side looking into both the park and the back garden. This would be suitable for someone who wants a lot of space or perhaps someone looking for a luxurious live/work studio space. all of this for 160 pounds p/w! - room available sometime between the 9th-12th of August. we are able to arrange viewings through the landlords whenever is convenient for you. please please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested or even repost - thanks a bunch! Thanks, Den xx

sounds great, i mean, i hope to divide everything with this guys, they're really cool.
more news asap =)

freeform five: when music is music.

if i say freeform five, i can just think about some english guys who like to mix rap, hip-hop, electro-beats, twee-pop and so on.
it's quite amazing, isn't it?
i mean, they do the hardest work by taking ispiration from different styles but they're able to make the best music EVER.

i'd really like to listen to them for just one reason: i love ecletic guys.
who knows, maybe i'll be this chance in uk =)

freeform five live at- 10days off, belgium 15.07.2006

tomorrow i'll start studying for my contemporary art's exam.
hope to go on without troubles..hope.

arezzowave06, photo-album.

it's, mh, maybe the third time that i try to post some pics from arezzowave festival 2006 and finally i've won against blogspot.com, tsè.
as i said, it was not so great as last year. by the way, i've known justice and.... no words, amazing.
so i'd like to share this pics with you guys:

arezzowave's logo on the stage at the stadium.

crowd: not so full of people and laurent garnier was boring..

me & zil: believe me guys, that's not water.

the stage where garnier & craig perfomed their live.

a room from centr'affari: i really hate places full of doped people.

me & marco: he has really loved carl caig's dj-set while i've really loved to be out from that stupid centr'affari.

out from centr'affari: nice neon-effects.

what's the concept of "movement"? something manageable only thanks to your body.

oh, it was saturday. "hey justice, why don't you have a photo with me and my friend andrea?"

present from justice: "move my body" by tiga, track played only by erol alkan.

so that's all, i think.
more other pics on :

i'm not sure which part i'm playing.

great, i 've sent a lot of e-mails to persons who rent apartments and who offer a job for august. no answers.
by the way, i was just thinking about how my english could be improved with this experience, i mean, i hope so.

i'm a soulwax's fan, in particular i really love their video about "e-talking": INGENIOUS!
if you don't know anything about em, please buy their album, "any minute now".

and did you call it "music" ?

back from arezzowave06, what could i say?

well, i was not so in high spirits as last year and maybe i know why.
by the way, i think this festival lost everything concerning the concept of "wave" : really, this word is totally different from techno, minimal sound and so on.
so if you see a bunch of people dancing like zombies in front of big-boxes, the only thing you can say is "bleah" and that was i say the first day of arezzowave.

the second day i'd the pleasure to listen to justice: well guys, i looked like a little jumping kid in front of his xmas gift: amazing dj-set, so rocky, much appreciated from me and a part of my friends.
we had also a great chat with him talking about his great performance and his great music, then he [there was just one of the group] let us have a photo with him and.....
HE GAVE US "MOVE MY BODY" BY TIGA! AMAZING!
finally i own this fucking track played only by erol alkan on his "bugged out" compilation.
so remember guys: honeymoonchild supports justice and their works!

today i've bought new thom yorke's album, named the eraser.
well, it's really my cup of tea: i thought he develops this album with the same radiohead's way, so i believed in a rocky album full of drama-guitars.
on the contrary, it was a surprise to discover a cd full of mixed emotions, nordic samples, oniric atmospheres and, obviously, thom's voice.
i suggest you to buy it =)

well, about dj-set of today, no idea how it sounds cos i've had no time to check it due to a huge exam to finish. so, take it, listen to it and let me know how it is, ok?

kiki live at fritz loveradio, berlin, 15.07.2006

oh, i dunno if say it yet but i'll be in london for a month, in particular in august.
i don't know what i'll do, where i'll do, how i'll do...i know i could seem as an irresponsible guy but i really want to come back to england cos i remember how i was happy everytime i was there.

if you wanna come and visit my room, you're welcome!
cheers.

just cannot contain this.

finally i have had the opportunity to chat with my ex-girlfriend: yes, i think she's really cute, in particular when she smiles.
by the way, i gave her a present hoping she could appreciate it [i think not cos i'm really "far" from her ].

and then, mh.. oh of course, tonite i had a stupid dinner with some boring guys from my college but i was so weary to listen to their pathetic speeches and i decided to use an excuse like "i gotta go to my garage in bastia and spin my decks"[what a fuck, it was true!damn!].
so i was going out from college-parking and i met these guys.
the most stupid one came to me saying: "oh, can you drive us to a farm holydays?"

since i'm so jackass, my reply was obviously "YES".
and now, i'm pressured.

this year was full of "dead-periods" and i used to listen to
mogwai , a band from glasgow, scotland. honestly i had no idea what they could impress me but after listening to their new album "mr. beast", i can just say how this album is so fantastic.

have you got any news about
radiohead ? i really dunno what they do, where they make sex, how use their drugs. if you own one of this information, please, let me know as soon as possible.
p.s. thom yorke will probably release an album soon but for any other info, next on honeymoonchild.

ok bellamy, you'll be in my blog but please, next time try to improve your albums cos i think muse 's last one could be mentioned as the cheesiest album of r-n-r's history.

sorry about images but it seems that blogger.com hates me today.

i feel downhearted.

exam was not so difficult, i mean, i think it was quite accessible also for a guy like me who didn't understand so much about subjects of that studies.
by the way, i think i'll go to uk in august for several reasons:
- i'd like to have more money to buy a new apple's laptop;
- i'd like to forget everyone except for one person who doesn't want me;
- i'd like to improve my english language-mastery.
i let you know what i'll do in the next days.

don't look away and i run for miles.

fuck off all of these exams, no-time to make something.
incredible how people wanna enjoy theirselves, have fun and so on, when there's a summer session full of exams.
bha..

by the way, i'll play in a summer party with a swimming pool, lot of people and blablabla.
here it is the link:

stf pool party!

sorry about, it's italian language.

so, let's talk about
black strobe.
i really don't know if you, guys, ever listen to them: one year ago i had the pleasure to have a long great night [omg, so alcoholic] hearding their music. they played different massive tune as italian fireflies [for 20minutes, absurd!], blue monday by new order, abusator by sweet light and so on.
i tought about they could be the last electro lovers in a world which would become more and more minimal.

my thoughts were all wrong: i mean, if you heard their "deceive" track or "nazi trance fuck off!" or any other rmx made by them, you could agree with me about how so poor of melody are their tune.
so, i'd like to remember smagghe&rebottini in this way:

my keyboard is wet.

borp, today i've enhanced my academic booklet with a great 29/30 in japanese language.
happy for that, i know i'm good in that idiom.
then i came back home and had a lil brunch with capuccino and croissant.

my life is so great!
..

by the way, if you was one of the guy who felt so cool by listening to "body language", remember that i played and listened to it many months before you. nerds! ahahahahaha!
i'm joking.

i mean, i'm joking about "nerds" but not joking about "the discovery" of body language.

it was surely one of the best track made by m.a.n.d.y. , in collaboration with booka shade and it was played in several clubs: from ibiza to mykonos, from london to milan, from barcelona to foggia [yes, incredible but in my city everyone loved it!].
i'm pretty sure about "
get physical"[m.a.n.d.y.'s own label] sound is fated to die cos i think it gets no news: really if you heard last g.p.'s release, you will surely agree with me.

m.a.n.d.y. at no soap radio

go back home, germany! [ehm, you're at home yet]

yes guys, italy did it.
we're in the final of world cup! bye bye germany!

no-time to give comments about these new dj-sets cos i gotta go to celebrate!
by the way, from dutch "awakenings" festival:

why do omg and ipop hate me?

well, i've spent all day trying have a contact with my friend lovig cos of i'd like to go to the garage and play but, with him, it's impossible to program something. so angry, grrrr.
so i've tried to study but, honestly, i've just opened and closed the books and so i enjoyed myself by finishing the gift for my ex-girlfriend [i mean, posh up all the packages] cos tomorrow she'll come here.

mh, so.. last time i talked about ellen allien and her wishes to have a fashion line.
well, it was true: she've set up a firm; incredible, doesn't it?
well, more info on:
fashion.ellenallien.de

one way to judge a festival is to watch how and which artists plays on it: well, this year sonar 2006 was something devastating!
other sets from barcelona:
agoria is one of my favourite french artists cos he didn't ever sound as a "french-touchy" guy or "daftpunkian" boy, he gets his love for techno and offer it to the masses.

agoria live at sonar festival, barcelona 2006

several friends of mine look like being hypnotized when they listen to modeselektor .
their sound is not property of minimal or electro or techno stuff, it's just original. stop, no more to say[this blog looks/sounds like bpitch control's one!].
this live is lovely, hope you can like it:

modeselektor live at sonar festival, barcelona 2006

ok, last night i heard a piece of news about forthcoming album from french-duo cassius. its name should be "15 again".
when i was younger, "cassius 1999" was an huge hit dance in all the clubs and now i'm quite happy to listen to their works again. hope it could be a great album as in 1999.
